The Donne 4.0 association synthesizes in this manifesto the empowerment and female leadership in the world of technologies as strategic levers to promote progress and enable the full participation of women in closing the gender gap and creating a more equitable world.

1 | ACCESS TO INTERNET FOR ALL

Access to the internet is a universal citizenship right, and girls and women should be able to connect at home, at school, and at work.

2 | TECH SERVICES FOR WOMEN BY WOMEN

Women should be involved in the creation of platforms for smart cities, smart economy, and smart environment to contribute and create services useful to women.

3 | ACTIVE ROLE IN INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

Women should be involved in the creation of new technologies and platforms in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cybersecurity, Robotics, and the Internet of Things, to bring in female values, knowledge, and skills.

4 | GIRLS & STEM IN PRIMARY SCHOOL

Girls must be supported and encouraged at home and in school to explore STEM subjects and have experiences with labs and educational projects.

5 | YOUNG WOMEN & STEM

Young women should be encouraged to overcome gender stereotypes that prevent them from choosing STEM studies in high school and university paths.

6 | WOMEN & TECH UPSKILLING AND RESKILLING

All women should have the opportunity to pursue digital UPSKILLING and RESKILLING paths to more easily access the new professions of the future.

7 | WOMEN & TECH WORK

Women should be supported and encouraged, with specific hiring and training programs, to access tech companies and roles without experiencing wage disparities.

8 | WOMEN & TECH LEADERSHIP

Women should be included in top tech positions in companies (without discriminatory pay or maternity-related obstacles). Companies with women in top tech roles should enjoy tax benefits.

9 | FEMALE REPRESENTATION IN DECISION-MAKING BODIES

Women should be included in leadership positions in all institutions, public companies, associations, and task forces to create tools and regulations supporting women’s growth.

10 | WOMEN & TECH STARTUPS

Women launching tech startups should be supported by local, national, and international institutions with non-repayable contributions and tax benefits.

11 | WOMEN IN TECH COMPANIES

Already established women-led companies should enjoy specific funds and tax breaks.

12 | INVESTORS & FUNDS FOR FEMALE-LED TECH COMPANIES

Investment funds and private equity should receive public benefits if they invest in female-led tech companies.
